Lifa Zhang


  

Graduated from Nanjing Normal University in 2001 and National University of Singapore with a PhD in January 2012. Worked as a postdoctoral researcher at National University of Singapore and University of Texas at Austin. Since July 2015, he has been a professor at the School of Physics and Technology, Nanjing Normal University, and the dean since May 2018. He has been honored as a distinguished professor of Jiangsu province, a high-level talent of the six peaks of Jiangsu province, and a leading talent of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation team of Jiangsu province. Mainly engaged in phonons and quantum thermal energy science research. Research area includes phonon angular momentum, chiral phonon theory and application, topological phonons, magnetics, interfacial heat conduction and thermal rectification phenomenon. He has published more than 40 papers in first-class international journals such as Science, Nat. Phys., Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Lett. He was the session chairman of American physics annual conference (APS 2014), chairman of the Phonons and PTES 2018 joint international conference, the vice chairman of Jiangsu physics association, and the vice President of JiangSu Society of Physics.
